Today, we are thrilled to unveil Clutch Security and introduce our groundbreaking platform to the world. Clutch provides the industry’s first universal Non-Human Identity (NHI) security platform, giving security teams the visibility and context they need to know, understand, control, and secure their NHIs across the entire organizational landscape efficiently and confidently.

The story behind Clutch Security is rooted in the challenges my co-founders and I witnessed firsthand. We saw the significant impact of Non-Human Identity-based attacks and the complexities posed by these distributed, massive-scaled, and privileged identities. Being at the forefront of building enterprise cyber solutions and empowering security teams to manage their operations and attack surfaces, we recognized the urgent need for an integrated solution to tackle the emerging threat of NHIs. While we were confident in the necessity of such a solution, we wanted to validate our vision with the industry, and so we spoke with hundreds of CISOs and their teams to understand their pain points in NHI security. This journey led to the building of Clutch and turning our validated vision into reality.

In this blog, I want to introduce Clutch's story, from inception to launch, and explain why we are so proud of this milestone. But first, let me share the significance behind our name.

The name “Clutch” signifies a firm grasp or control over something critical. In the context of our mission, it represents our commitment to providing security teams with a firm grip on their NHIs.
